Roofing Before & After in Long Beach, CA
We can talk about tear-off technique and underlayment until the sun goes down, but nothing tells the story like watching a tired, patched roof come off and a clean, tight one go on. These transformations are from real Long Beach jobs, not catalog shots. Every roof you’ll see here was priced in writing before the first shingle came off, and every single one carries the 365-Day Done Right Promise stamped into the paperwork.

Full Tear-Off & Replacement in Naples
Before
AfterThe problem: a 1960s shake-over composite roof that had been re-roofed once too many times, with visible sagging between rafters near the west ridge. Salt air had done its work on the flashing too. We tore everything to bare decking, replaced two sheets of soft plywood, and rebuilt the flashing details before laying down a new underlayment and GAF dimensional shingles. The result is a roof that drains clean and a deck line that finally looks straight from the curb.
Repair After Wind Damage in Bixby Knolls
Before
AfterHigh gusts off Signal Hill had peeled back a section of shingles near the chimney and torn off a length of ridge cap. Water was getting in through the exposed nail heads and staining the ceiling in the upstairs hallway. We replaced the damaged ridge with a properly nailed and sealed cap, matched the field shingles to the existing CertainTeed color, and re-seated every loose shingle within two courses of the tear. Ceiling dried out, no interior repair was even needed.
Asphalt-to-Steel Conversion in El Dorado Park
Before
AfterThe homeowners were tired of replacing asphalt every decade and asked us what would actually last in Long Beach sun, so we walked them through a standing seam panel conversion for the main slope with a matching architectural shingle on the steeper gable ends. We re-framed the eave overhang to handle the panel profile and added a high-temperature underlayment rated for metal. The house now reflects heat instead of absorbing it, and the roof carries a manufacturer warranty measured in decades, not years.
Flat Roof Repair in Rose Park

This one started with a call after the first real rain of the year, when water started showing up in the kitchen light fixture. The old roll roofing had blistered under years of sun and the scupper was half-blocked with grit. We stripped the membrane, replaced the scupper, and installed a two-ply modified bitumen system with a slight taper so water actually leaves the roof instead of sitting on it. It’s not a pretty roof, but it’s a dry one, and that’s what the kitchen needed.
Tile Roof Renovation in Los Altos

The bones of this Long Beach tile roof were good, but decades of seismic settling had cracked the valley flashing and shifted tiles out of alignment so badly you could see daylight through the gaps. We lifted the tile, replaced the underlayment, re-bedded the tiles in fresh mortar, and rebuilt both valley junctions in galvanized steel instead of the original aluminum. The tile itself was cleaned and reused where it was sound, which saved the homeowners thousands compared to a full replacement.
Emergency Repair After a Fallen Branch in Alamitos Heights

A limb from the neighbor’s eucalyptus came down in a windstorm and went straight through the roof over the garage, leaving a hole large enough to see the car below. We tarped it that evening to stop the water, then came back the next morning to cut out the broken decking, sister the rafter where the impact had split it, and install new decking, underlayment, and Owens Corning shingles matched to the rest of the house. You can’t find the patch from the street, and the garage floor stayed dry through the following two storms.
